Role Purpose:
Lead and own raw material supply planning for Vietnam across fibres and filaments, dyes and chemicals, and makeup materials, while driving end to end supply planning for the ANZ region. Champion service excellence and inventory optimization by setting clear planning priorities and ensuring robust execution across the supply chain. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Demand Planning, Procurement, Manufacturing, and Logistics to ensure seamless alignment and execution. Proactively identify supply risks, such as material shortages, capacity constraints, and supplier dependencies and drive effective mitigation strategies, including alternate sourcing, safety stock optimization, and prioritization frameworks.
What you will do (Key Responsibilities):
- Supply Planning & Execution
- Develop and manage supply plans aligned with demand forecasts across Vietnam and ANZ markets
- Ensure optimal inventory levels balancing service and cost
- Coordinate production planning with manufacturing sites
- Monitor and adjust plans based on demand/supply changes
- S&OP / IBP Alignment
- Support monthly S&OP process with clear supply visibility and constraints
- Highlight risks, gaps, and mitigation plans to stakeholders
- Ensure alignment between demand, supply, and inventory strategies
- Inventory & Service Level Management
- Support service level performance (OTTP)
- Manage slow-moving, excess, and obsolete inventory (SLOBs)
- Implement inventory optimization initiatives (e.g., safety stock, coverage policies)
- Regional Coordination (Vietnam & ANZ)
- Act as key point of contact for ANZ supply planning activities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Central Planning Team, Demand Planning, Procurement, Logistics, Sales) across regions
- Ensure smooth supply flow across markets and distribution networks
- Performance Tracking & Continuous Improvement
- Track KPIs: Service Level, Inventory Turns, DOS (Days of Supply), Plan Adherence
- Analyse root causes of supply issues and drive corrective actions
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance planning efficiency
- Data
- Capacities, MRP Data integrity, Calendars, APO Custom Tables
- Ensure Integrity of the data pertaining to the forecast including, demand history, factors driving SS, MRP Category classification
- Team Management
- Manage and support a team of planners
- Promote collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement within the team
- Ensure effective task allocation and timely execution of planning activities
- Other Projects as required.
