Job Purpose

 

To support the Business i.e Marketing, Manufacturing, Supply Chain by providing accurate and timely cost information to enable them to take relevant and timely decisions.

 

 

 

 

Key Accountabilities

 

  1. Maintain product costing module (CO module) in SAP for accurate costs -review BOM’s and Routing on an ongoing basis, fix activity prices based on Plan assumptions, release costs of mills, convertors, depots by January 15th every year.  Review and release costs of new materials within a day of it being mastered in SAP.
  2. Provide Quarterly Replacement Cost and actual cost in case of new materials to Commercial Team and other stakeholders on a need basis (IGTP fixation, make vs buy vs outsource).
  3. Reviewing segmental margin and ensuring accurate reporting of segmental for both group and local reporting.
  4. Reporting Operational Performance of mills to Group on a monthly basis.
  5. Assist in fixing the conversion prices for dedicated third party convertors.
  6. Maintain System Controls in SAP-COGI, COFC errors, FI vs CO synchronization (KE5T), executing assessment cycle in SAP and reviewing the resultant numbers, review negative storage location stock, review physical inventory postings.
  7. Analyse Price and Factory Variances and ascertain the reasons for the variances.
  8. Completing Cost Audit on a timely basis and Finalising the Segmental Profitability Statement for Transfer Pricing Assessment, providing inputs for Statutory and Tax Accounts finalisation (Sales and Processing Schedule, Quantitative details).
  9. Developing Customer, Depot and Product Profitability reports on Power BI to support decision making by Senior Management.
  10. Perform and review Input-Output Reconciliation on an All India basis / specific mills using SAP as the basis.
  11. Provide accurate MIS reports on time to various stakeholders on a weekly / monthly / quarterly / annual basis.

Knowledge, Competencies and Key Behaviours Required

 

  • Qualified Chartered Accountant (one or two years’ experience) or Cost Accountant with 3+ years of experience.
  • Should have good digital capabilities and knowledge on Power BI preferred.
  • Strong Analytical skills.
  • Good Interpersonal skills.
  • Basic English communication skills.
