Job Title - Assistant Manager - FP&A

Role Purpose: The employee is responsible to support the Business i.e Commercial, Manufacturing, Supply Chain by providing accurate and timely cost and profitability information to enable them to take relevant and timely decisions.This role involves working in a collaborative manner with other teams, optimizing processes, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations as well as Coats internal policies.

Principal Accountabilities and Key Activities:

Manage Standard cost revision and maintain accurate costing , Engage with IED and manufacturing and Supply Chain for correctness of BOM & Routing in SAP, Discuss with Commercial on margin movements and analysis, Own End to End stock reconciliation (Physical vs Books), Perform Inventory valuation  at month ends as per standard policies, Audit support – Statutory, Tax & Cost audit, Drive forward opportunities for automation and providing value added insights in specific areas as identified from time to time in Costing & FP&A (Eg., Power BI Dashboard, Costing Reckoners).

Key Relationships:

Internal- Commercial, IED, Manufacturing, Supply Chain

External- Auditors, Statutory, Internal, and Cost 

Education, Qualifications and Experience:

Essential-

• Qualified CMA/CA
• Thorough understanding of costing principles with minimum of 2 years experience in costing function in a large manufacturing concern.

• Familiarity with SAP (including CO module)  and SAP BI needed.
• Strong Analytical skills.
• Good Interpersonal skills.

• Good Written and Oral communication is required.

Desirable-

• SAP, Power BI, Excel, Word and PPT
