Job Purpose |
For establishing the process route and process conditions in Dyeing & Finishing for the recycled/bio based products. To handle research projects on Dyeing and Finishing. Manage the dyeing processes, sample queue, sample requirements and resources efficiently. Assisting in testing of samples. Sample follow-up, preparation of reports and dispatch samples to customers. |
Key Result Areas |
Establish dyeing and finishing processes for sustainable product samples. |
Planning DOE and taking trials, establishing process route, process conditions; The executive is responsible for extensive research, to conduct iterative trials on dyeing and finishing related to innovation projects. |
Support procurement function for purchase of identified chemicals for dyeing and finishing. |
Leadtime of sample development in D&F. Need to coordinate with the local production team and quality team in developing new product samples. Need to follow-up sample production completely right from grey goods to finished goods. |
Support monitoring and improving of product quality, dyehouse/lab KPI for all sustainable products, recycled products implemented in bulk. Need to perform lab-dips, colour matching and support quality team in conducting color fastness tests, durability tests etc. |

Should have excellent communication skills, willingness to learn new things, excellent interpersonal skills and team management on regular basis |
Knowledge, Competencies and Key Behaviours Required |
1. College or above with major in relevant sciences e.g., textiles, textile chemistry, preferably Textile processing, Textile technology with minimum 3–5-year experience in dyeing. B.Tech /M. Tech in Textiles or master’s in Textile chemistry. |
2. Dye house systems practical knowledge in efficient use. e.g Colourstitch, Dye sect, Sedo master, Technorama, LA & Lawer system OR same kind of working system in textiles. |
3. Experience in dyeing operations of different substrates – cotton, polyester, blends, sustainable products, other synthetic fibres, and blends. |
4. Knowledge on dye vessel and related safety measures in dyeing. |
5. Excellent communication and team motivation skills. |
6. Good knowledge in SAP, in the relevant transactions. |
7. Knowledge of Health and safety standards and laws. |
8. Connect with Industry – RM/D&C suppliers, associations |
9. Language proficiency – Tamil, English |
