Job Title: Assistant Manager-Logistics Safety Fabrics
Location: Madurai
Role Purpose:
Efficiently manage end‑to‑end supply chain activities including material code creation, vendor coordination, RM and chemical ordering, and production program releases. Track daily dyeing, spinning, and fabric operations, ensure timely material flow, and support accurate billing and on‑time deliveries through continuous follow‑up with internal teams and external partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage Master Data, including creation and maintenance of BOM, Dyed Fibre, Yarns, Greige and Finished Fabric Codes.
- Run Raw material, D&C Planning aligned to Demand forecast, and collaborate with procurement for timely deliveries.
- Create and Release Fibre Dyeing, and Spinning programs for Fabrics, Yarns and Threads. Ensure timely delivery from In-house production plants to converters.
- Maintain Order book of Safety segment at daily production status level while collaborating with manufacturing team to improve lead-time, quality and tail management.
- Maintain re-conciliation at program level to bring in critical insights helping us improve productivity.
- Collaborate with Finance team in Quarterly Cost run of Fabrics, and Yarns ensuring right standard cost of products in ERP through BOM accuracy.
- Partner with DC and Outsource Logistics team to deliver sales plan on daily basis.
- Provide delivery timelines for all orders to the Commercial team and ensure stringent, continuous follow‑up to maintain adherence to scheduled deadlines (OTTP).
- Run SLOB simulation for Safety, and partner with commercial team to create and execute clearance plan.
- Be the Owner of End-to-End Realization reporting, and monthly re-conciliation.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s in engineering/technology – Textile.
- 10+ years’ experience in Spinning and Technical Fabrics.
Desirable:
- Supply Chain Certifications.
