Job Title: Assistant Manager – Exports, Rhenoprint and RM inventory
Location: Ambasamudram

 

Role Purpose:

  • Manage end-to-end export operations and Rhenoprint planning, while leading raw material planning and inventory control for packing materials, dyes, and chemicals across Pan India. Ensure accurate forecasting, optimal stock levels, timely availability, and smooth coordination with stakeholders to meet service, sales, and inventory targets, while maintaining strong process control and compliance.

 

 

Principal Accountabilities:

  • Manage end-to-end exports for external and group customers, ensuring service and delivery targets.
  • Plan and execute end-to-end Rhenoprint operations from raw material to order delivery.
  • Lead raw material planning for packing materials, dyes, and chemicals across Pan India.
  • Prepare demand forecasts based on business needs and consumption trends.
  • Ensure optimal stock levels to support uninterrupted manufacturing.
  • Plan and monitor weekly material requirements, receipts, and usage.
  • Track inventory levels and identify excess or shortage risks.
  • Take corrective actions for critical stock situations.
  • Drive reduction of slow-moving and obsolete inventory (SLOB).
  • Review system alerts (APO) and release purchase requisitions on time.
  • Maintain accurate planning parameters in MRP, PMMUM, and PKD systems.
  • Coordinate closely with Procurement, Manufacturing, Planning, and Marketing teams.
  • Manage new material introduction, artwork implementation, and KF activities.
  • Prepare reports (D&SM, DSM) and communicate inventory risks to stakeholders.
  • Ensure audit compliance, clear COGI errors, and follow company procedures and controls.

 

 

Education, Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of relevant experience in Exports, material management etc.
  • Strong knowledge of MRP/ERP systems (SAP) and inventory planning tools
  • Excellent coordination skills to manage internal stakeholders and external partners, with strong communication abilities to liaise with government agencies, brokers, and logistics providers.
  • Proactive approach to identifying and resolving compliance issues, documentation inaccuracies, and operational delays.
  • Good Excel and analytics, judgment, and problem-solving skills

 

 

Desirable:

  • Familiarity with APO or advanced planning systems
  • Exposure to audit, compliance, and process improvement initiatives
