Sr Manager Global Accounts FW Thread

Responsibility for Global Accounts Germany and Central European Region. This role is specific to primarily managing the Global Adidas and Puma accounts. Aim of the position is to develop the brands from the existing portfolio and identify new Thread opportunities outside the existing portfolio to win new nominations and achieve sustainable profitable sales growth.
Profitable Sales Growth & Brand Management:

Deliver Global Account (Adidas, Puma, and others) profitable sales and gross margin at or above plan level on an on-going basis through driving new Thread specifications and strengthening existing ones.

Identify, qualify and implement a new business development plan to successfully target new sales growth opportunities within both existing customers and new customers.

Partner and negotiate with internal departments (Customer Service, Group Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, Product Management) and external customers

Perform and analyse monthly sales audits to ensure all Global Account and sales for specified account

Ensure global contracts, BOM specifications and agreements are being enforced at brand and contractor level

Act as liaison between Coats’ source market teams and Global Account headquarters / offices and Coats Direct Sales team members to enforce nominations and drive new business.

Maintain up to date source country and contractor lists for each account, and communicate these along with any seasonal production schedules to the relevant contacts within Coats worldwide to improve forecast accuracy

Manage customer profile (strategy, organizational charts, key influencers and decision makers)

Build and manage an on-going pipeline to plan for and track opportunities for share gain and revenue growth.

Regularly monitor competitor activities and suggest new products or marketing activities to grow share

Leverage technical expertise to drive sales and further promote Coats Global Offer
Administrative & General:

Involvement in market facing activities – trade shows, apparel local associations, competition information, and industry trends

Ensure management is provided with on time reporting on a weekly and monthly basis and ensure information provided is relevant and up to date

Manage CRM data at the global brand level

Prepare top line presentations for senior level executives (internal and external)
Education, Qualifications and Experience

A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in any commercial discipline.

Minimum of 7-10 years’ experience in brand development

A proven track record in sales.

Results driven with the ability to create and implement strategic account plans to meet deadlines and achieve objectives

Ability to create and sustain relationships at all levels with both internal and external customers

Excellent communicator with strong presentation and negotiating skills (verbal and written)

Financial and business awareness with good numerical and analytical skills.
