Role Purpose:

This role will support the Commercial team and Customer Service team by performing sales performance analysis, revenue management, sales demand forecasting, market trend analysis or/and other commercial related analysis with best practices, improved processes and existing systems, dashboards and tools to ensure the required analysis and reports are relevant, accurate and timely available to improve commercial functional effectiveness that drives sustainable and profitable business growth.  

Job Responsibilities:

Coordinate and manage sales demand forecasting

    1. Collate sales inputs and market intelligence, factor them in the sales forecasting process  and submit sales demand forecast proposal for approval
    2. Submit the approved sales demand forecast into the relevant systems on a timely basis
    3. Monitor and track actual sales flow versus signed off sales forecast plan; and collaborate and align with Demand Planning team and relevant key stakeholders to ensure grey yarn and related raw materials and components are accurately and efficiently available to support customer orders as customer requested
    4. Prepare and report weekly forecasting or latest forecasting view to Commercial key stakeholders to support changes or decision making as required

 

Deliver regular and ad-hoc commercial analysis, reports and surveys

  1. Provide and translate data into actionable metrics and insights to drive sales and profit performance
  2. Deliver regular commercial reports in a timely, accurate and efficient manner. 
  3. Deliver other regular or ad-hoc analysis, reports and surveys including competitor analysis, customer satisfaction surveys, export data analysis and yarn movement analysis etc…

 

Support smart pricing to gain share and improve gross margin and leverage it to the complexity offer

  1. Understand the business and the complexity of the interactions from the perspective of product volume, vendor, brand and super contractor to support defining the most appropriate quotations.
  2. Ensure list price / Special price compliance for local commercial team 
  3. Prepare price index report monthly with the use of existing tools

 

Support SELF-HELP in the Commercial team and Customer Service team to adopt existing and available dashboards and reporting tools to improve efficiency, accuracy and consistency

  1. Train and support the Commercial team and Customer Service team to self-help by adopting the existing and available dashboards and reporting tools

Manage new accounts creation and existing accounts maintenance including soldto, billto, payer, shipto, local brand.

 

Requirements:

    1. College degree or above.
    2. At least 1 year’s data analysis experience.
    3. Ability to develop and maintain good working relationships at all levels
    4. Effective communication skills
    5. Strong growth mindset
    6. Good oral and written communication skills in English
    7. Capable of working in a competitive, demanding and time-critical environment
    8. Strong analytical and data interpretation skills
    9. Proficiency in systems and software applications e.g. Excel and SAP
    10. Knowledge of MS Access or Database Management
    11. Strong commercial sense and customer operations
    12. Knowledge of Coats systems, dashboards and reporting tools
