Principal Accountabilities:
• Assist in evaluating the market landscape to identify the potential customers to target and new business channels entering the market. Gather information on the competitive landscape to determine the priority opportunities
• Ensure good sales relationships with domestic brands/retailers to provide customers with Coats solutions for seasonal products.
• Call on buying offices/the brands to gather intelligence and identify new business opportunities
• Active customer prospecting and acquisition of profitable new business as defined by the Head of Business Development
• Support the analysis of market trends and data to identify growth opportunities
• Build and develop personal network including WeChat/Dynamics to create a network on future prospecting contacts
• Collaborate with Marketing/Technical teams to leverage Solution selling opportunities to target and communicate with potential prospects.
• Collaborate in the development of and implementation of marketing & technical presentations needed for prospect sales meetings
• Submit weekly reports to management, detailing Apparel and Footwear market and customer activities, competitors' trends and strategies, services, etc.
Requirements:
•University/college graduate, 3-4 years’ experience in textile/garment industry, experience in accessories is preferred. Or relevant sales development experience.
•Willing to work under pressure, self-motivated, mature and ambitious
•Excellent communication and presentation skills with strategic flair
•Ability to work flexibly with colleagues to achieve team objectives.
•Confidence in presenting in front of groups of people.
•Ability to manage and prioritize own workload.
•Strong network and good knowledge of the market, the trends, the changes
•Strong customer focus with high accountability, ownership and perseverance
•Can adapt to the business trip arranged by the company, and have a car driving license is preferred.
