Job Title : Central Planner
Location : Bangalore
Role Purpose
Responsible of grey thread supply by centrally planning the overall level of Supply and Inventory for D&F units.
Data-
- Capacities, MRP Data integrity, Calendars, APO Custom Tables
- Ensure Integrity of the data pertaining to the forecast including Statistical forecasting parameters, demand history, factors driving SS, MRP Category classification
- Check Performance Vs Expected outcome across Planning and Scheduling Function
Process-
Central Grey Thread Planner
- Forecast revision, maintenance, and updates for numerous Asia markets with a monthly ordering process for grey thread.
- Establish sourcing plans for the plants ordering grey thread from different vendors.
- Measuring forecast accuracy for various manufacturing plants.
- Perform different analysis, tasks, and support for Central planning with measurement of grey thread KPIs, stocks and planning.
- Continuous control over movements, consumption, and necessary follow-ups
- Necessary responses/ reactions to changes made by suppliers and reacting to any demand changes by optimizing stock levels/ projected stocks.
- Review GT forecasts and action any necessary consumption overrides in SAP APO.
- Supervise the Masterdata settings for grey thread items in SAP.
- Followup and implementing necessary changes to sourcing matrix, changes to transportation lane settings.
- Establish and maintain continuous and close communication with both vendors and customers.
- Prepare list of unsatisfied sales orders and raw materials on the rationing list for daily information to Bulk Processing units and Customer service units.
- Prepare Grey Thread Forecasting performance reports for Asia units.
- Analyse vendor performance to highlight problem areas and continuously tune lead-time settings for procurement planning.
- Continuously keep oneself updated about the latest SOPs and processes related to Grey Thread Planning
Education, Qualifications and Experience
- Min 0-3 years of experience required
- Strong statistical and mathematical knowledge.
- Good communication skills (Superior in English).
- Good Excel knowledge.
- Good problem resolving skills
- Good skill to observe the relation between different areas
- University Degree
- Relevant Supply Chain Qualification
