Colour Specialist Redye (1)

Role Purpose

- To prepare dyed thread card wound samples for color measurement with the global color measurement SOP to improve Lab performance .

- To prepare cop/cone samples as required

Principal Accountabilities and Key Activities

A. Safety & Housekeeping:

- Follow Company Health and Safety regulation.

- Ensure all accidents/incidents and near miss are reported immediately for Lab supervisor.

- Actively look for areas where safety can be improved to report to relevant people.

- Maintain standards for housekeeping.

- Ensure a high level of safety awareness is maintained at all times and take steps to eliminate all risk factors and potential hazards

B. Productivity/Quality:

- Comply with all relevant SOPs at all times

- Ensure card windings are taken as soon as dyeing is completed. Prepare high quality card wound samples of dyed thread in line with global color measurement SOP.

- Ensure lubricating machines are producing samples that have the correct lube content and inform the Laboratory Supervisor when a machine is out of specification.

- Ensure produce finished sample on correct support types (cone) as per WI

- Other as requested by Lab Supervisor

Discipline:

- Follow Company working hour regulation.

- Follow discipline SOP

- Report to HR or relevant Manager any issue related Coats Ethics

Requirements :

- High school graduated

- Good attitude

- Good discipline

- Be able to work with computer

- Basic technical knowledge of dyeing methods, dyestuffs and auxiliary chemicals.

- Ability to understand document in English.
