Colour Systems Reporting & Data Analyst

Role Purpose

This Colour Systems Reporting & Data Analyst will be responsible for governing, developing and maintaining the data & reports required for the Governance of the Global Dyehouses.  These reports will be published on a monthly basis within each of the sites as well as to the Manufacturing Center of Excellence and the Director, Global Colour Systems.  

The reports themselves will be utilised to manage and measure the KPIs in effect in the Global Dye Houses, and, conduct trend analysis and develop analytics to support Global Colour Systems.  Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to drive performance improvements. 

In addition, the Colour Systems Reporting & Data Analyst, will also be responsible for working with the relevant teams to collaborate and develop improvement plans for Dyehouses, and the roll out of these improvement plans and best practice to the relevant teams across all sites.   

Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in data analytics and reporting.  Proactively seeking opportunities to enhance reporting processes and data governance. Support the continuous improvement of the Global Colour Systems through innovative data solutions.

Principal Accountabilities and Key Activities

•    Proven experience in data analysis, reporting and governance.
•    Strong proficiency in data analytics tools and software (e.g., SQL, Excel, Power BI).
•    Develop the required Reporting & Data for the Global Colour Systems and Global Dye Houses.
•    Familiarity with KPI management and performance measurement.
•    Training of the Dyehouse Staff in the use and interpretation of the reports.
•    Working with the Manufacturing Center of Excellence and the Global Dye House staff in developing and tracking the improvement plans.
 

Job Requirements:

•    Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, or a related field.
•    Fluent English both in spoken and written.
•    5+ years in a data, analytics or insight’s role
•    Colour Physics training and understanding
•    Moderate development experience in Java, .Net and mobile application platform.
•    Moderate development and support experience in SharePoint and MS Power Platform.
•    Experienced with common database technologies.
•    Experienced in Power BI and Power Automation tools
•    Desire to work closely with the business, learn new things and deliver innovative improvements.
•    Ability to take ownership of a project or issue, analyse it and solve problems not faced before.
•    Moderate knowledge on network architectures required for support and troubleshooting.
•    Good to have experience of running and operating applications in cloud environment.
•    Exposure to production observation capabilities e.g., Logging, Metrics etc.,
•    Previous e-commerce experience would also be beneficial. Website and user experience awareness would be an added advantage.
