To lead and manage Hung Yen bulk dyeing production to achieve safe working environment and deliver highest right first time/colour quality and productivity.  The role serves to help guide our bulk dyeing production supervisors and shift leaders in its thrust to develop a growth mindset , embrace Coats’ guiding principles and priorities.

 

Principal Accountabilities and Key Activities (Principal accountabilities are specific areas of accountability unique to the position requiring decisions or delivery of results. -Ensure that Health & Safety and Environmental standards are maintained 

  • Ensure that risk assessment of all processes within the area of responsibility are done and necessary instructions and protective equipment are determined for H&S and protection of environment.
  • Ensure that the employees are trained in working safely in their respective processes with due reference to risks involved and PPE required and environment friendly operation.
  • Monitor the operations daily in order to ensure that the H&S (redlines) and Environmental standards are maintained all the time.

 

-Monitor & align bulk dyeing processes of  in Hung Yen dyeing plant with the global manufacturing standards to deliver high right first time/colour quality and productivity (LpMpD and energy efficiency)

  • Establish the process standards/best practices and continuously improve the process efficiency
  • Ensure that quality standards are adhered to by all production processes
  • Ensure that all employees are trained for the requirements of the processes they are working in.

 

-Ensure bulk dyeing production supervisors and shift leaders to achieve and maintain a high level of technical capability and supervisory skills through the provision of ongoing training, technical support and performance assessment and feedback. 

 

-Manage sales and customer service expectations through timely and effective liaison and feedback relating to service KPIs, dyeing queues and customer complaints.

Education, Qualifications and Experience

  • University degree holder, preferably in the field of engineering.
  • Minimum of 5 years at supervisory level in a dyeing factory.
  • Has a growth mindset able to adapt to varying and increasing demands of all stakeholders.
  • Fluency in English reading and able to communicate clearly in English.
  • Relentless focus on target achievement and continuous improvement.
