Education/Experience required-

  • Education: Masters (Textile or chemistry)
  • Experience: 5-6 years of relevant experience
  • Experience in Textile Industry

Job Role includes- 

  1. Develop and maintain all SOPs and ensure their compliance.
  2. Ensure optimal resourcing and utilisation of all LRM functions to effectively manage the laboratory workload while maintaining standards of shade tolerance and service lead-time. Liaise and communicate about colour development issues with other Coats units as necessary
  3. Ensure effective use of Colour Stitch software to manage all TAC’s good performance
  4. Ensure effective use of Colour Stitch software to manage Lab requirements
  5. Ensure continuous improvement in all KPIs such as attempts per share, lab to bulk reproducibility, Lead Time RFT, CQ, lab to bulk reproducibility and analysis and LRM utilisation, through regular review and analysis.
  6. Ensure effective and timely response and feedback of DTM queries and sample order requests.
  7. Efficiently log and manage all laboratory workload, using Colour Stitch Lab Request Manager Software in line with global SOPs.
  8. Monitor daily laboratory output and workload balance across shifts.
  9. Manage all laboratory routine and non-routine reporting & documentation.
  10. Monthly/Weekly Plant KPI reporting including gathering data from relevant sources.
  11. Ensure use of Global Dyeing Profiles on all laboratory dyeing machines.
  12. Monitor and implement Global SOPS in Dye House , Finishing and Laboratory area and Shop Floor
  13. Look after all electronic systems & ensure that all are running in efficient way. Like SE Spectrophotometers, conditioning cabinet, Oven, Light cabinet, card winders, all weigh IT3000 thread weighing system & computers.
  14. Work safely and maintain 6S, I.E & TARA in coordination with floor supervisor.
  15. Ensure all SAP related issue of Laboratory should be resolved on time.
  16. Ensure continuous improvement in all KPIs such as RFT,CQ , lab to bulk reproducibility through regular review and analysis.
  17. Manage root cause analysis of process related WFT.
  18. Ensure effective use of Colour Stitch software to manage all TAC’s good performance
  19. Ensure all data of colour stitch/SAP is maintaining as per requirement of GIA.
  20. Control all process parameter in Dye house and ensure it is always meet the requirements in Process Data, Checklist, Form, and other related documents.
  21. To eliminate hazards factors in shop floor, ensure a safe working environment.
  22. Monthly/Weekly Plant KPI reporting including gathering data from relevant sources.
