Executive, Order to Cash

Role Purpose:

The purpose of the job is to arrange the acceptances from respective customer's bank for attaining DSO (Days Sales Outstanding) at the

targeted level. In order to get payment & acceptance within specific allocated time frame need to work closely with customer's commercial

personnel, sales and finance team along with Coats and wherever required related to collection.

 

Principal Accountabilities and Key Activities:

 

L/C Documentation & Compliance

· Ensure timely issuance and processing of L/C documents upon receipt from customers, maintaining strict adherence to banking and trade

compliance requirements.

· Review and validate all export documents (Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Delivery Note, Bill of Exchange, Transport Documents, etc.)

to ensure zero discrepancy submission to banks.

· Manage L/C lifecycle (issuance, amendment, negotiation, realization) with strong control and documentation standards.

 

Collections & Bank Coordination

· Drive end-to-end collection process, including follow-up with issuing banks and customers for acceptance, maturity, and payment

realization.

· Monitor L/C balance reports and overdue positions, ensuring timely escalation and resolution of issues.

· Coordinate with treasury and banks to ensure efficient cash realization and minimal delays in fund flow.

 

Customer & Stakeholder Management

· Build and maintain strong relationships with customer commercial teams and issuing banks for smooth handling of L/C, amendments, IP/UD,

acceptance, and payment instructions.

· Act as a key liaison between Sales, Finance, and Banking partners to ensure seamless O2C execution.

 

O2C Monitoring & Reporting

· Track and report bill status (accepted, pending, overdue, discrepancies) with actionable insights.

· Provide timely updates to Marketing and Finance on commercial risks such as non-acceptance, overdue bills, UD/IP gaps, and

documentation issues.

· Maintain accurate records in ERP/SAP to ensure real-time visibility of receivables and compliance status.

 

Education, Qualifications and Experience

(Include skills and competencies required to perform the role competently)

 

  • Business graduates from any reputed university.
  • 3+ years of experience, preferably in similar field or MNC
  • Mentality to visit frequently in bank and stakeholders’ office
  • Hand on experience in Ms Office with good analytical ability & good communication Skills 
  • Bike riding will be an additional advantage
