Executive, Supply Chain Finance

Role Purpose:

Managing the overall plant finance operations, ensuring robust control and compliance across all financial and operational activities related to the factory. Additionally, collaborating with the supply chain commercial team to facilitate foreign payment processing.


Principal Accountabilities and Key Activities:

LC and Vendor Payment Management

  • Update LC register based on bank advice, sales contract, invoice, BOE, and Bill of Lading.
  • Send payment advice to the bank and clear vendor ledger after payment.
  • Forecast monthly LC payments excluding exceptional items.
  • Process freight forwarder and C&F bills as per approved schedule and agreements.

 

Cost Center Report Prepare and Reconciliation

  • Publish monthly reconciliation reports on waste disposal sales.
  • Track provisions for accurate cost booking and prepare BSR.

 

Inventory and GRN Management Report Tracking

  • Confirm long-pending returnable goods and ensure timely GRN in SAP as per factory gate register.
  • Review adjusted inventory of FG & RM monthly, comparing SAP and physical quantities.
  • Conduct 100% yearly inventory count with external auditors and complete adjustments.

 

SAP Posting and System Controls

  • Ensure SAP posting for group and non-group vendors.
  • Complete monthly entries and prepare a schedule for monthly charges.

 

Reporting and Financial Controls

  • Submit monthly reports for RJP manufacturing and group reporting.
  • Maintain lease payment tracker
  • Ensure IT cost bookings match provisions and vendor agreements.

 

Asset and Capex Management

  • Lead asset disposals as per the approved final disposal list.
  • Physically verify and filing Capex bills with supporting documents.

 

Employee and Petty Cash Handling

  • Verify final settlements for CTG and RJP employees.
  • Manage RJP petty cash responsibly

 

Education, Qualifications and Experience:

Essential:

  • CA Part qualified (CL Complete)/M Com/MBA majoring in Accounting/Finance
  • Big4 Audit firm experience
  • Advanced verbal and written communication skills

Desirable:

  • A stint of 2 to 3 years in different accounts related activities preferably in a reputed organization
  • Working experience in SAP environment will be preferable.
  • Should be analytical, time bound, able to work in pressure
