Role Purpose

The EXIM executive will manage the entire import and export process, ensuring compliance with regulations. They will optimize cost-saving schemes like Advance License, EPCG, and Duty Drawback, coordinate with internal teams and authorities, meet legal requirements, and ensure smooth global trade operations.

 Principal Accountabilities and Key Activities

  • Oversee import/export documentation, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely submission.
  • Manage advance licenses, EPCG, duty drawback, and other incentive programs for compliance and benefits.
  • Coordinate with production, finance, and logistics teams for smooth operations.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations, working with government agencies and customs.
  • Monitor export/import scheme obligations to avoid penalties and meet commitments.
  • Liaise with freight forwarders, brokers, and authorities for efficient customs clearance.

Education, Qualifications and Experience

Essential

Desirable

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, International Trade, Supply Chain, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in import/export management, with in-depth knowledge of Indian import/export schemes such as Advance License, EPCG, and Duty Drawback.
  • Strong understanding of trade compliance, customs regulations, and scheme obligations, both domestically and internationally.
  • Ability to analyse trade data and identify cost-saving opportunities while ensuring compliance with all legal requirements.
  • Excellent coordination skills to manage internal stakeholders and external partners, with strong communication abilities to liaise with government agencies, brokers, and logistics providers.
  • Proactive approach to identifying and resolving compliance issues, documentation inaccuracies, and operational delays.
  • Good Excel and analytics, judgment, and problem-solving skills

 

 

  • Relevant Exports administration experience.
