Job Title: Spinning/Twisting - Shift Executive – Manufacturing
Location: Ambasamudram
Job Purpose
To manage the shift spinning and twisting processes and resources efficiently, ensuring safe and sustainable operations while consistently achieving and improving KPI targets such as:

Utilization
-
Efficiency
-
Waste
-
OHK
-
Grams/spindle
-
Energy consumption
The role also involves ensuring the optimum utilization of resources such as people, machinery, and energy during the shift, and enforcing SOP compliance for all shop floor activities. The key product focus is on Aramid, PP segment fibres, and blends.
Key Result Areas
-
Ensure health and safety by monitoring leading and lagging indicators, and reviewing TaRA, MOC, and MSA.

Maintain and improve the 6S score in the assigned zone.

Drive sustainability by reducing Energy (Kwh/kg) and Waste %.
-
Reduce customer complaints per 100 order lines and improve TUC.

Achieve shift production targets as per plan.

Improve KPIs: Utilization, Efficiency, Waste, OHK, Grams/spindle, and Energy consumption.

Lead and deliver productivity improvement projects, including LSS, Kaizen, and OPL initiatives.
-
Control attrition and absenteeism by fostering a healthy work environment and maintaining high morale.

Lead and support employee engagement initiatives during the shift.
Knowledge, Competencies & Key Behaviours
-
Educational Qualifications:
-
B.E./B.Tech in Textile Technology, Chemistry, Textile Processing, Textile Chemistry, or Manmade Fibre Technology with 0–3 years of experience, or
-
Diploma holders in the above fields with 0–5 years of experience.

Technical Knowledge:
-
Sound understanding of spinning and twisting processes.

Awareness of maintenance, critical process parameters, and different fibre/filament types (preferred).

Soft Skills:
-
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Systems Knowledge:
-
Basic knowledge of SAP transactions (preferred).
-

Compliance and Standards:
-
Familiarity with Health & Safety, ISO standards, and internal audits.

Certifications (Preferred, Not Mandatory):
-
Lean Six Sigma Yellow/Green Belt

Language Proficiency:
-
Fluent in English and Tamil.
