Role Purpose:
The Executive – Manufacturing ensures safety and compliance by following Coats’ SHE standards and promoting a strong safety culture. The role focuses on improving productivity in synthetic and cotton twisting operations to meet global performance standards, maintaining capacity and quality to deliver required grey thread volumes at expected customer quality and lowest cost, and providing team leadership through clear direction, accountability, teamwork, and high performance. It also manages shift operations to achieve KPI targets such as Utilization, Efficiency, Waste, OHK, Grams per Spindle, and Energy Consumption, ensuring proper use of manpower, machines, and energy, while following SOPs for shop floor activities.
Principal Accountabilities:
- Safety & SHE Compliance: Ensure compliance with SHE standards, TaRA, MOC, MSA reviews, and all shift safety protocols.
- Ethics & Governance: Maintain ethical, transparent, and compliant operations across all shift activities.
- People Leadership & Engagement: Build a skilled and engaged workforce while maintaining positive employee relations, absenteeism, and attrition within targets.
- Spinning & Twisting Operational Excellence: Manage shift operations to achieve planned production volumes with optimum utilization and efficiency.
- Process & Manufacturing Optimization: Improve utilization, efficiency, waste, OHK, grams/spindle, and energy consumption through process optimization and SOP compliance.
- Productivity Improvement: Execute and support LSS, Kaizen, OPL, and other continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and cost savings.
- Quality Assurance & Customer Focus: Improve first-time-right quality (TUC), reduce customer complaints, and ensure consistent product quality.
- Asset Care & Sustainability: Maintain machine reliability, 6S standards, and monitor sustainability metrics such as energy per kg and waste percentage.
- Digital & Cross-Functional Coordination: Ensure accurate operational reporting and collaborate effectively with HR, QA, Maintenance, Engineering, and Training teams.
- Cost & Operational Efficiency: Drive operational efficiency by optimizing manpower, machine performance, energy usage, and material consumption.

Education, Qualifications and Experience:
- 3–5 years of Strong technical knowledge and experience in twisting/spinning exposure in machinery and process control
- Analytical problem-solving and process control skills.
- Good communication and cross-functional collaboration.
- Commitment to safety, compliance, and continuous improvement.
- Knowledge of ISO standards, H&S, critical process conditions
