Job Purpose:
- Support the development, implementation, and ongoing monitoring of Procurement policies, procedures, and compliance standards across all Procure-to-Pay (P2P) activities.
- Assist the Procurement Compliance Champion in data analysis, internal audits, and continuous improvement initiatives to ensure adherence to internal controls, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements.
Principal Accountabilities and Key Activities
Compliance Monitoring & Reporting
- Monitor and review P2P transactions to ensure compliance with internal procurement policies, ethical standards, and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Develop and maintain internal audit checklists and conduct regular system, process, and compliance audits across Procurement operations.
- Identify non-compliance, document observations, and support corrective and preventive actions.
- Prepare and present compliance reports, audit findings, and management dashboards.
Policy & Process Management
- Support implementation and continuous improvement of Procurement policies, SOPs, and control checklists.
- Ensure policies and procedures are documented, current, and consistently applied.
- Share best practices and guide teams on compliance requirements.
- Identify control gaps and recommend process improvements.
Training & Awareness
- Conduct compliance awareness and training sessions.
- Act as first point of contact for Procurement compliance queries.
- Support and coordinate internal and external audits including Global Internal Audit and controllership reviews.
System & Data Management
- Analyse P2P transactional data and assess control effectiveness.
- Develop compliance dashboards, scorecards, and reports.
- Coordinate with Finance, Legal, Audit, and Global Transactional teams
Education, Qualifications and Experience
Essential
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
- 5+ years of experience in Procurement, Audit, or Compliance roles.
- Experience with SAP, P2P processes, and audit frameworks
Desirable
- Strong P2P process and compliance knowledge.
- Audit and analytical skills with keen attention to detail
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skill
- Knowledge of relevant laws and standards
- Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint and Power BI
