Role Overview
This role is designed for a reliable, detail-oriented, and highly enthusiastic professional who thrives in a fast-paced sales operations environment. This individual will play a critical role in managing data, supporting digital and operational projects, and acting as a dependable partner to business stakeholders. The role requires strong communication skills, structured documentation abilities, and the ownership mindset to see initiatives through from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities
What This Role Is About
- Being the go-to person for accurate data, timely updates, and dependable execution.
- Working closely with managers and stakeholders to run projects smoothly, track progress, and close actions.
- Bringing clarity through documentation, SOPs, Project documents, Email, Programmes and clear communication.
- Managing multiple moving parts with attention to detail and calm ownership.
Reporting & Data Management
- Prepare periodic and ad-hoc sales and management reports with a high level of accuracy.
- Maintain, validate, and reconcile sales, incentive, and operational data across systems.
- Perform data checks to ensure consistency, correctness, and audit readiness.
- Create Reports from SAP, CRM, and different sources.
Commercial & Incentive Support
- Support calculation and validation of schemes, rebates, incentives, and employee achievements as per approved policies.
- Assist in the preparation and tracking of credit and debit notes in coordination with Sales and Finance teams.
- Flag discrepancies in processes, create SOPs where required, document and support timely resolution.
Digital Programs & Projects
- Support and manage sales operations programs, including system rollouts, enhancements, and process changes.
- Perform data testing, UAT validation, and business checks for digital initiatives.
- Coordinate with IT and business teams to ensure smooth execution and adoption.
Documentation & Knowledge Management
- Create and maintain SOPs, ROE documents, and operational playbooks.
- Develop case studies documenting business problems, solutions, and outcomes.
- Ensure documentation is updated, version-controlled, and communicated to stakeholders.
Stakeholder Management & Operations Support
- Act as a key coordination point between Sales, Finance, IT, Procurement, and other stakeholders.
- Manage ad-hoc data and operational requests with clarity, accuracy, and ownership.
- Communicate status, risks, and dependencies proactively.
Process Improvement & Problem Solving
- Identify gaps and inefficiencies in processes and recommend improvements.
- Demonstrate a strong attention-to-detail and “figure-it-out” mindset while handling ambiguity.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications & Skills
- 1-5 years experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in commerce, IT, or Engineering.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel; exposure to SAP, SAP BW, BI tools, or digital platforms is an advantage.
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail.
- Proven ability to manage stakeholders and cross-functional dependencies.
- Structured thinking, ownership mindset, and clear communication skills.
