Purpose:

To develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth, expand market share, and strengthen brand positioning within the apparel industry. This role involves managing a sales team, building strong relationships with key clients and retail partners, and ensuring the company meets its sales objectives while maintaining profitability.

 

Job Description:

1. Sales Strategy & Revenue Growth:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with business objectives.
  • Set and achieve sales targets, ensuring consistent revenue growth.
  • Identify new business opportunities, including emerging markets and trends.

 

2. Team Leadership & Performance Management:

  • Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and team goals.
  • Supervise the other support teams of Customer services, Sales Administration
  • Expert team to maximize business results & customer satisfaction.
  • Recruit, train, and develop high-performing sales professionals.
  • Monitor performance metrics and provide regular feedback and coaching.

 

3. Market Analysis & Business Development:

  • Conduct market research to understand industry trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities.
  • Identify key market segments and create targeted sales initiatives.
  • Develop partnerships with distributors, retailers, and corporate clients.

 

4. Pricing & Profitability Management:

  • Develop pricing strategies to optimize profit margins and sales volume.
  • Monitor costs, promotions, and discounts to ensure financial health.
  • Collaborate with finance and production teams to align pricing with supply chain efficiency.

 

5. Deliver Operating Cash Flow (OCF) plan

  • Review the customer credit worthiness & set the credit term in agreement with credit control team.
  • Ensure the collection of the debtors with the approved pay term.

6. Contribution to other priorities of the company
