Job Title: Health & Safety Analyst Location: Ambas,Madurai, Ballabhgarh, (Based on Candidate location)
Role Purpose
The HSE Analyst supports the global Health, Safety (HS) function by delivering accurate data analysis, insightful reporting, and efficient management of digital platforms.
The role is responsible for ensuring that operational data is transformed into actionable insights, HS systems are optimized for user needs, and technology solutions are integrated seamlessly across the organisation.
Through strong collaboration with internal teams and external vendors, the HS Analyst enhances system performance, reporting capability, and decision-making across Coats’ global operations .
Principal Accountabilities:
Data Analysis & Insight Generation
- Collect, clean, validate, and analyze HS data from global sites to identify risks, trends, and improvement opportunities.
- Generate actionable insights from incident reports, audit findings, and KPIs to support leadership decision-making.
- Provide scenario-based analysis to guide HS strategy and performance improvement initiatives.
Reporting & Dashboard Development
- Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc HS reports tailored to different audiences (executive, regional, site-level).
- Develop and maintain interactive dashboards using Power BI or equivalent tools, ensuring alignment with Coats’ digital reporting standards.
- Collaborate with Coats Digital and IT teams to standardize reporting formats and enhance data accessibility.
HS Software Management
- Administer and optimize key HS software platforms (e.g., Intenseye, Intelex, Enhesa).
- Serve as primary liaison with vendors to resolve technical issues, manage updates, and improve system functionality.
- Ensure platforms are properly configured to meet compliance, governance, and workflow requirements.
User Experience & System Improvement
- Gather structured feedback from global users to identify system challenges and opportunities for improvement.
- Coordinate with software providers to implement enhancements based on business needs.
- Support digital transformation by recommending system upgrades, integrations, and automation opportunities.
Training & User Support
- Develop training materials, user guides, and e-learning modules for HS systems.
- Deliver virtual and on-site training sessions to site teams and regional users.
- Provide ongoing first-line support for technical queries, system access, and troubleshooting.
Integration & Interfacing
- Ensure seamless interoperability between HS platforms and other corporate systems (e.g., HRIS, ERP).
- Facilitate data exchange across systems to enable holistic compliance and performance reporting.
- Partner with IT teams to maintain architecture and ensure data security and integrity.
Innovation & Benchmarking
- Research emerging HS digital tools and benchmark Coats’ platforms against industry best practices.
- Assess feasibility of new technologies (e.g., AI, IoT-enabled safety tools) for adoption.
- Support pilot projects and global rollouts of digital solutions to enhance safety performance and efficiency
.
Education, Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Environmental Science, Engineering or related discipline.
- 3–5 years’ experience in HS data analysis, reporting, or system management within a multinational or industrial environment.
- Proficiency in data visualization and business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Strong analytical and statistical skills with ability to generate actionable insights.
- Experience administering HS or compliance-related software platforms.
- Excellent communication skills with ability to explain technical issues to non-technical stakeholders.
Desirable
- Certifications in Data Analytics, Power BI, or SQL.
- Experience with ERP/HCM system integrations (e.g., SAP, SuccessFactors).
- Familiarity with AI/ML or IoT applications in HSE.
- Knowledge of ESG reporting requirements and sustainability metric

Job Title: Asst. Manager – Procurement (Band 6)
Division: Apparel Function: Procurement Status: Full-time Location: Madurai
Role Purpose
- Support the development, implementation, and monitoring of procurement policies, processes, and compliance standards across all procurement activities, ensuring alignment with internal controls and ethical standards.
- Act as the internal compliance champion for the Procurement team.
- Manage the end-to-end Supplier Code auditing process for India.
Principal Accountabilities
1. Compliance Monitoring & Reporting
- Ensure Procure-to-Pay (P2P) activities comply with internal policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Develop internal audit checklists and conduct regular system/process audits and compliance reviews within Procurement.
2. Policy & Process Management
- Assist in the implementation of Procurement policies, and in the development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and checklists.
- Share knowledge with team members regarding system and process compliance.
- Identify areas of improvement and recommend enhancements to existing procurement procedures.
3. Training & Awareness
- Conduct training sessions to enhance compliance awareness among the Procurement team and internal stakeholders.
- Act as the primary point of contact for procurement compliance queries and guidance.
- Manage internal audits, including Global Internal Audit (GIA) and Controllership reviews.
- Identify procurement-related risks and collaborate with internal teams to implement mitigation strategies.
4. System & Data Management
- Generate compliance dashboards and management reports for internal stakeholders.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure Procurement compliance requirements are understood and adhered to.
- Maintain strong communication channels with Legal, Audit, Finance, and other relevant departments.
