Education/Experience requirement-

- Graduate in Science, preferably IOSH /NEBOSH certified

-3-5 years of handling H&S matters in a manufacturing environment

-Thorough knowledge and training for EHS systems development and deployment.

Job Role includes-

- Implement and maintain the effectiveness of the group H&S Policy and management system to meet all local legislation requirements.

- Advice on developing the necessary H&S guidelines based on specific local requirement, and help the relevant departments to implement both local & global guidelines.

- Lead all internal & external safety audits according to H&S management system.

- Work with the unit’s safety committee and the corporate H&S function on H&S communication.

- Identify training needs, make plans & execute trainings in coordination with Department Managers & HR to make sure that all employees, visitors & contractors are trained and qualified to carry out their duties and meet their H&S responsibilities.

-Ensure that all areas of risk within the business are identified through regular & adequate risk assessment to control accident & health exposure in the company & minimize risk level.

- Monitor overall H&S statistics according to the management system & review the result regularly to ensure objectives are being achieved & that objectives & measures in place remain valid. 

-Oversee all incidents reporting, investigation and advice management to take necessary actions to prevent accidents & bring sustainable & continual improvement in H&S performance. 

-Develop clear local targets in line with global targets and advice to make achievable action plans that under pin the short falls in compliance to both the group H & S system and local legal requirements.

-Ensure that documentation concerning the EHS department is up-to-date.

-Allocate different H&S tasks to the site safety contacts and monitor their work to effectively use the resources
