- Inspecting, analyzing, and troubleshooting systems and equipment.
- Reading repair manuals and liaising with other professionals.
- Writing up reports, safety regulations, and preventative maintenance plans
- Be able to test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes… to ensure compatibility and safety of the system. Can use the welding, hand cutting, and hand grinding machine.
- Performance diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components, using test equipment and hand tools, to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem.
- Perform inspection of electrical/ mechanical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with codes.
- Coordinate with management and team members to plan work periodically.
- Advise management on whether continued operation of equipment could be hazardous.
- Follow strictly job-plan by preparing the tool before PM, following each step in the job plan, and recording all required parameters.
