Process Controller/ Dyeing

Role Purpose

  • To ensure SOPs, WIs are implemented correctly on the shop floor and key process variables in dyeing are controlled.
  • Acting as supervisor in short time (half or one shift) in case of annual leave of their supervisor.

 

 

Principal Accountabilities and Key Activities

  1. Safety & Housekeeping 
  • Follow Company Health and Safety regulations.
  • Ensure all accidents/incidents and near miss are reported immediately to shift supervisor.
  • Actively look for areas where safety can be improved to report to relevant people.
  • Maintain high standards for housekeeping.

 

  1. Productivity/Quality
  • Regularly checking, observing and guiding operators to ensure WIs and SOPs are implemented correctly & recording and reporting process variables in dyeing as format provided.
  • Ensure all prepared grey threads, dyes and chemicals ready at dyeing machines before the previous batch finished the dyeing cycle.
  • Monitor and report to Dyeing Supervisor of dyeing machine in unusual case that cause to stop production of working shift
  • Re-arrange orders in case of breakdown dyeing machines.
  • Cover lunch time and absenteeism.
  • Loading chemical from drum (60 – 120kg) to tank system (370 – 1200kg) for chemical dispensing
  • Other tasks as assigned by Dyeing Supervisor

  • At least 2 years experience of  fields in related to produce industrial sewing-thread
  • Understood  SAP system
  • Understood products of Coats
  • Understood all kind of dyeing processes, dyeing machines
