IE Manager

Role Purpose:

The purpose of the job is to support the manufacturing team by tracking manufacturing KPIs, coordinating continuous improvement projects, helping optimize resources through effective study, analysis, planning and supporting execution of those plans considering global and regional standards.

Principal Accountabilities and Key Activities:

The role will be primarily accountable for the following:
 
• Continually drive Lean Six Sigma initiatives to improve productivity and efficiency  

• Support change management process within the plant with a view to implementing best practices  

• Keeping the plant up to date for all manufacturing and non-manufacturing facilities through capacity study for optimization and potential improvement.  

• Actively participate in management control systems for cost analysis and planning  

• Work with management, engineers and customers to develop new standards for production and establish high quality product standards by designing control systems for production planning.  

• Track and analyze the gaps of business KPIs and work in a team for resolving the gaps

  
• Evaluate comparative study of global and regional manufacturing standards and take actions to standardize the plant operations to get High quality output.  

• Support maximizing productivity by using minimum resources through sufficient data analysis, work study and suggesting standard solutions  

Education, Qualifications and Experience:

• M.Sc./B.Sc in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field

• 8+ years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of production processes, quality control, and supply chain management.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in production management software (e.g., ERP systems).
• Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Desired Skills:

• Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement certifications.
• Strong communication skills to liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders.
• In-depth knowledge of the local rules and regulations governing H&S
• Local environmental legislation
• Preventative maintenance techniques
• Working knowledge of ISO 14001 an advantage
• Pressure vessel maintenance advantageous
• MS Office, SAP, Colour Stitch, Minitab
