Role Purpose: 

 

  • To ensure the correct use of LRM/WBA software for logging and efficient processing of all laboratory requests in line with all SOP’s 
  • To support bulk production through the provision of high quality recipes for Bulk Recipe Improvements (BRI) and Bulk Recipe Developments (BRD) requests. 
  • To ensure the correct use of CS to conduct colour measurement and pass/fail of all laboratory batches in order to efficiently service all LRM requests 

 

What you will do (Key Responsibilities):

 

  • Efficiently logging and management of all laboratory workload using ColorStitch Lab Request Manager software in line with global SOPs. 
  • Submit high quality thread matches to customers for DTM requests, ensuring that strike rate of shade card and atlas shades is maximised.
  • Ensure that high quality recipes are promoted to bulk for all color approval and sweing requests.
  • Work with bulk dyehouse team to ensure that the highest levels of lab to bulk reproducibility are maintained.
  • Drive continual improvement in dyeing attempts per request for DTM, Sample Orders, BRI and BRD laboratory requests 

 

Who you are (Requirements):

 

  • Fully competent in Colour Physics up to Level 3
  • College level education.
  • Minimum of 12 months working in Coats laboratory environment.
  • Proficient in use of ColorStirch Feedback.
  • Proficient in use of ColorStitch OBM software.
  • Proficient in use of ColorStitch LRM.
  • Experience and proficiency in the use of ColorStitch for recipe corrections.
  • Train the trainer capabilities.
  • Data entry skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Good colour vision as measured by Munsell 100 hue colour vision test (Score <16).
