Role Purpose:

 

To lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of talent development and learning strategies across Bangladesh, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka. This role ensures alignment with global and regional HR strategies, supports leadership and talent development and succession planning, and fosters a culture of continuous learning and capability building. 

 

Principal Accountabilities and Key Activities:

 

  1. Talent Development & Succession Management
  • Partner with business leaders, Country Heads of HR, and HRBPs to identify talent needs across Bangladesh, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka.
  • Lead talent reviews, career pathing, and development planning processes to build a strong leadership pipeline.
  • Support the identification and development of high-potential employees, facilitating internal career growth and regional/global mobility.
  • Drive succession planning discussions and strategies, ensuring critical roles have ready successors.
  • Utilize tools such as SuccessFactors for talent mapping and succession tracking.
  • Provide data-driven talent insights and recommendations based on internal performance trends and external market benchmarks.
  • Deliver timely talent data and reports to Country Heads of HR and Global team.

 

  1. Learning & Capability Building
  • Design and deliver learning programs tailored to local business needs, including onboarding, functional training, leadership development, and compliance.
  • Collaborate with global talent team to localize and implement learning frameworks.
  • Promote digital learning platforms (AI based platforms) and self-directed learning culture.
  • Measure learning effectiveness through feedback and performance metrics.
  • Collaborating with group CoE team and align local programs in line with group’s broad direction.

 

  1. Leadership Development
  • Implement leadership development initiatives for emerging and senior leaders.
  • Facilitate coaching, mentoring, and experiential learning opportunities.
  • Support change management and organizational development efforts.

 

  1. Consultancy to Solve Performance Challenges:
  • Help employees become independent continuous learners and enabling a culture of Growth Mindset
  • Help managers develop their teams to full potential including supporting on their team member’s individual performance plans
  • Complete general training needs analysis for different teams and groups.

 

  1. Others:
  • Facilitate calibration of performance ratings using performance management tools (SuccessFactors)
  • Promote all programs related to Diversity, Equity & Inclusion.
  • Spearhead different special HR projects.
  • Provide input for enhancement of recognition programs.
  • Plan and conduct sessions/talks on career growth, career counselling, mentoring, coaching etc.

 

 

Education, Qualifications and Experience

(Include skills and competencies required to perform the role competently)

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business or related fields.  
  • 8 years of experience in Talent Management, Learning & Development, or HRBP roles.
  • Regional experience across South Asia is highly desirable.
  • Strong facilitation, coaching, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Familiarity with digital learning tools and platforms.
  • Proven track of providing learning solutions and talent management in large organisations (preferably for MNCs).
  • Good understanding of organisational and human behaviour.
  • Demonstrates strong knowledge of talent and succession management.
  • Ability to independently implement talent development initiatives using modern tools and methodologies.
