Position Title: Manager—Ethics and Supplier Compliance

Role Purpose:

• Drive and enhance Coats’s ethics objectives, support all aspects of the Group's whistleblowing process, and ensure ethical compliances are maintained across the Group
• Help to build supplier code programs and ensure they are on track in line with the 2026 plan. Leverage on ethical and audit learnings to raise broader awareness and improvements.

Principal Accountabilities and Key Activities:

Ethics:

• Liaise with Group Head of Ethics and Supplier Compliance in devising, agreeing to, and delivering Coats' speak-up objectives.
• Taking a lead in working with Divisional / Functional leadership teams to devise, agree on, and drive the ethics agenda further forward and make higher profile across the organization

• Coordinate cross-functional teams as required to deliver quick and accurate investigation outcomes and follow up actions by leading this entire process

• Converse with and prepare reports for the Board / GET / Divisions / Units / Functions / and other key stakeholders to update on investigations and ethics program initiatives / improvements incl. sharing insights and best practices across the group
• Early identification of trends, proactive identification of ethical issues and concerns, and work with cross units and functions in mitigating these risks
• Use of technology to support these

Supplier compliance:

• • Reviewing the country team's supplier code programs and ensure they are on track in line with 2026 plan in consultations with BVQI and Procurement teams
  • Timely resolution of ethical and compliance issues post audits, GIA reviews and WB investigations in the areas of supplier compliances
  • Broad guidelines on supplier code audits and communications to procurement team members timely
  • Build a big-picture view of supplier issues to anticipate high-risk suppliers/countries/issues/themes/trends and get ahead of those risks and reporting to all senior stakeholders and the Ethics Committee on a periodical basis
  • Driving improvements with BVQI on the digital tool on the supplier code for bringing prompt notifications and alerts around redline and high-risk issues.

Others:

• Provide support to GIA on risk and ethics matters
• Fraud risk management including review, reporting, resolution, and action plan.

Education, Qualifications, and Experience:

Essential-

• At least 7 years of industry experience in internal controls/GIA and/or risk management
• Demonstrated strong investigation skills
• Strong communication skills and an excellent ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
• Strong stakeholder relationship and management skills
• Ability to articulate complex matters simply and concisely
• A self-starter who can quickly prioritise and manage multiple tasks at once
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team with professionals at all levels throughout the company.

Desirable-

• Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CPA or equivalent) with at least 7 years post-qualification experience
• Experience running whistleblowing channel/ethics hotline
• Ability to apply judgment in ambiguous situations to provide efficient and effective solution
• Excellent presentation and writing skills.
