Principal Accountabilities and Key Activities:
- Accountable for accurate and timely maintenance of data in Enterprise wide SAP systems, customer facing digital applications in the digital landscape , production systems, procurement systems and centralised data hubs that feed data.
- Responsible for coordinating all business units requirement for master data to enable smooth function of the business
- Responsible to ensure key data elements that drive factory operations, customer service, finance, management decision, etc are accurate and consistent across the enterprise estate.
- Make sure data process, principles, policies, and governance is understood and adhered to across the enterprise landscape
- Responsible to ensure data is not damaged corrupted or affected during data processing/ maintenance in system (e.g. SAP, MDM, APO, etc…) that will derail day to day business operation and might stop the entire factory.
- Act as the Subject Matter Expert for the business unit for SAP Master data
- Process design with Process leads on the design of creation and maintenance processes and operating model and ensure no existing BAU data processes fail.
- Support data harmonisation and alignment strategy for Master Data.
- Ensuring data governance and master data maintenance SLA’s are achieved
- Coordinating and executing dedicated work streams on local | regional and global level
- Review the data velocity, aging, usage and business impact to
- Evangelise data culture and principle to foster a culture of data driven organisation.
- Partner effectively and efficiently with cross functional teams when supporting projects or resolving business issues
- Completely and accurately, defines, owns and maintains the Business Language/Rules as per agreed guidelines.
- Maintains a good team work and team sprit
- Follows Coats global guidelines on product coding for finished goods, dyed thread, grey thread, etc.
