Role Purpose:

• To provide safe and healthy working environment for all Engineering department employees through effective implementation of Health and Safety management system.
• Environment management system implementation as per Environmental Policy and action plans and awareness trainings to all associates in the Engineering department.
• To take care of Finishing electrical maintenance as primary responsibility and dyeing and utility as contributory.

What you will do (Key Responsibilities):

• RA / JSA as per the new guidelines to complete and SOP needs to review based on the RA & JSA and give training to all technicians on the JSA and SOP and evaluation to be done.
• All SOPs are to be displayed in the respective areas / machine etc. in English and Local language.
• Zero tolerance leakage attending at Polishing Park and liaise with Finishing to reduce steam wastage at Polishing machines by way of opening the valves by the operators and reduce the fossil fuel and achieve the target set for the engineering dept.

• Conduct zero base power for finishing as per the production plan / efficiency index etc. And arrive at machines / spindles required to run and prepare zero base power and find the variance in Finishing comparing to the actual power consumed. 
• Circulate the study and machine needs to Finishing every month.
• Draft the SOP for finishing BD capturing and circulate to FNG  and start making the BD report of finishing without any gap and get the correct BD report for finishing machines like   (HA, LA,Hacoba,TN21A ,  RECB, shrink wrapping m/c etc.) and maintain the BD within the target & keep records.
• Enter the BD & PM in the MMS and all spares replacing also to feed in the MMS./ SAP.
• Spare consumption for maintenance as well BDs to note and arrive at zero base spare requirement for maintenance + BDs.

•  H&S guidelines to follow 100% and achieve zero reportable accidents in the engineering department.

• Engineering Store renovation, identification of all spares, Bin numbering system, stock maintenance. To achieve
• Maintain the complete power distribution system in the plant in very good condition

• Maintenance of all plants and machines and Process machines.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering or Textile Maintenance. Diploma (or) Graduate in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Engineering maintenance department.
• HT/LT Power distribution system with Supervisory Licence.
• All Utilities, Dyeing machines, Engineering and Finishing machines.
• All controllers and its function, AC/DC drives ,PLCs, microprocessor systems.
• Engineering and Dyeing &Finishing machinery related SOP’s .
• Health and Safety SOP and PPE requirements for different chemicals used at ETP and WTP, Boiler
• SAP and maintenance management system at Engineering.
• Proficient in use of computer applications.
