Role purpose 

The Production Manager, ProWeave responsibility is to drive the effectiveness of end-to-end ProWeave quality control process, including incoming materials management, in-process control, finished goods inspection and handling customer complaints.

Key responsibilities: 

1.    Safety and Compliance
•    Responsible for team, machine and operation safety to ensure Zero accident.
•    Fully comply with Coats H&S, Compliance and Ethics policies and practices.
•    Eliminate potential hazardous factors, ensure a safe production environment through regular review Task Risk Assessment (TaRA) and Machine Safety Analysis (MSA).
•    Always promotes H&S, Compliance and Ethics best practices through personal leadership (leading by example). 

2.    Production management
       Manage effectively ProWeave production and achieve all KPI targets including quality, service, output, and productivity through:
•    Ensure Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions (WI) are available and up to date for all production processes.
•    Ensure enough resources including labours, machines and materials are available on time for production. 
•    Fully comply with the production plan which has been set by the ProWeave planner to meet delivery dates.
•    Ensure the production team are well trained and fully complies with the standard operating procedures and work instructions.

3.    People Management
Create a high performing team capable of contributing to continuous improvements and succession planning through:
•    Set up and communicate SMART objectives to subordinates.
•    Timely feedback, monitor and evaluate performance of subordinates to improve working morale.
•    Carry out skill gap analysis for key subordinates and then create and implement appropriate individual development plans (IDP)
•    Ensure internal labour regulations are understood by all subordinates and followed properly.

Key Qualifications: 

  • College graduate or above – preferably textile/ engineering function with experience in production management role.
  • Minimum 3-year experience in the WEAVING / KNITTING industry.
  • Good technical knowledge of yarns and weaving machines is preferable.
  • Strong decision-making and prioritization are essential to make sure everything runs smoothly.
  • Ability to be as organized as possible to schedule, monitor and adjust deadlines and resources as needed.
  • Good at time-management, an eye for details and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with Excel is important.
  • Fluent in Vietnamese and English, speaking Chinese is a plus.
