Principal Accountabilities and Key Activities:

  • Analyse market needs, trends and business opportunities for focus market segments (Fire and Industrial Laundry)
  • Engage directly with Senior Management, Design, Product Development, R&D, Marketing and Operations at potential customers to uncover opportunities for Trims or ‘pain’ with current products that Coats can resolve
  • Generate ideas and strategies based upon market insights and recommendations
  • In cooperation with the Technical and Procurement team, drive innovation, sustainability and new product developments projects – from idea to launch follow-up
  • Manage the global product portfolio: analysis, strategy, positioning and pricing
  • Drive key account plans for laundry companies across EMEA and the US together with the sales team to drive profitable growth among related garment manufacturers
  • Build future market awareness and capture opportunities related to new legislation, upcoming tenders, etc.
  • Collaborate with Commercial teams, Product and Technical Management, Innovation, Procurement and Supply Chain to follow up on opportunities and to ensure conversion into sales in a timely manner

 

Education, Qualifications and Experience

  • 5-10 years Marketing, Sales or Techno-Commercial experience in Reflective Materials in the Personal Protection Industry
  • High energy, self-driven, achievement orientation
  • Key relationship skills. Will be required to travel
  • Ability to sell high value materials by engaging R&D, Engineering and other senior management with prospect organizations
  • Analytical skills
  • Fluent English
