Playing a key role in integrating cutting edge technology into manufacturing processes; by researching and evaluating new equipment, software and methodologies to enhance production capabilities and stay ahead of industry trends. Principal Accountabilities and Key Activities:

Conduct market research to identify gaps and opportunities to lead market.

Including participation in specialist conferences and trade shows

Perform process lifecycle assessments on current technologies.

Continuously identifying potential for improvement and innovations and thus contributing to process optimization

Supporting and leading projects from laboratory scale to pilot plant to market launch.

Accompanying and driving development projects with/at international key accounts, external partners, universities, colleges and institutes

Hands-on development and implementation of unique/ innovative processes for the manufacture of structural components

Development of new systems and machines including specifications
-
Ensuring time and budget adherence to the project plan while achieving the optimum of product features and quality

Optimise and assist in the transfer and commissioning of processes/ technologies from R&D to volume manufacturing

Developing process reliability and documentation with KPIs

Creating the associated product and process documentation

Interface from development to production

Education, Qualifications and Experience
-
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field
-
Up to 5 years professional experience
-
Proficient in problem solving
-
Competent in German & English both spoken and written
-
Intercultural competence and the ability to work with people at different hierarchical levels

Knowledge of footwear structural components and their manufacture, experience in project management, rapid prototyping & CAD would be an advantage
