Job Purpose

Achieve sales and collections deliverables and development of salesforce

 

Principal Accountabilities:

  1. B2C Sales – channel sales in an open distribution model comprising direct customer accounts with wholesalers and retailers
  2. Sales and distribution for assigned territories through a team of sales officers
  3. Manage salesforce (3-4 company employees) through resource deployment, planning PJPs, reviewing Go-To-Market effectiveness, daily and monthly reports of salesforce, identifying training needs and imparting on the job training to the team
  4. Manage primary and secondary sales objectives, business growth, category and share objectives.
  5. Create and execute demand generation plan to achieve business objectives for new and premium products
  6. Execute high participation of trade in primary and secondary promotions
  7. Deliver numeric distribution objectives for both direct and indirect distribution – prospect for new customers, monitor new town/customer sale
  8. Manage customer payments and achieve collection targets

 

 

 

Knowledge, Competencies and Key Behaviours Required

Dimensions

  • Graduate or higher degree with good qualifications.
  • At least 6 years of prior sales experience in channel sales with customer management skills
  • At least 2 years of team leader experience of company or third party employees
  • Experience with reputed B2C companies in leadership positions in their segments
  • Industry preference FMCG/Paints/Lubes/Tyres/Consumer durables
