Role Purpose

To drive revenue growth in Coats' zipper business by acquiring new customers and expanding share within the backpack and footwear segments, while strengthening client relationships and delivering tailored product solutions that support Coats' market leadership goals.

Principal Accountabilities and Key Activities 

•    Develop new accounts and maintain existing customer relationships, identify zipper business opportunities, and achieve sales targets.
•    Recommend appropriate zipper specifications and solutions based on end-use applications (apparel, luggage & bags, footwear, etc.).
•    Maintains relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance; researching and recommending new opportunities; recommending profit and service improvements.
•    Identifies product improvements or new products by remaining current on industry trends, market activities, and competitors.
•    Prepares reports by collecting, analysing, and summarizing information. 
•    Provide daily reports on customer visits, keeps the opportunity pipeline updated, along with customer contact details.
•    Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
•    Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies.

Education, Qualifications and Experience

•    A minimum of 2 years experience in Sales – preferably in the backpack/Footwear the segment;
•    Excellent technical, interpersonal and managerial skills;
•    Excellent written and verbal communication skills and proficiency in English;
•    Self-motivated, stand up to challenge and willing to work under pressure;
•    Superior team working spirit;
•    Result and customer oriented;
•    Strong business sense.
