What you will do (Key Responsibilities):
- Manage Standard costing revision, Actual cost and Variance analysis.
- Analyze cost drivers, identify inefficiencies and recommend cost saving initiatives.
- Continuous review of BOM & Routing and its updating
- Involve in FP&A activities viz., Planning, Cashflow forecast, Capex Proposals, Variance analysis including submission of Financial Bridges on time
- Make use of the Controlling module & Product Costing Module in SAP to monitor key areas.
- Provide Product Cost Information primarily to Commercial on a periodic basis with Margin analysis (Quarterly Replacement costs as well as periodic ad-hoc cost requests).
- Provide information to enable transfer pricing returns to be compiled and maintain cost records for cost audit.
- Conduct monthly reviews with Plant team on Variance analysis & Performance reporting with focus on conversion costs.
- Involve in Stock valuation process on need basis and Analyse Price and Factory Variances.
- Support statutory, tax and cost audits.
Who you are (Requirements):
- Qualified CMA/CA (Semi qualified with relevant experience may also be considered)
- Thorough understanding of costing principles with 1-2 years’ experience in costing function in a large manufacturing concern.
- Basic Knowledge of SAP / ERP system would be an added advantage.
- Strong Analytical skills.
- Good Interpersonal skills.
- Good Written and Oral communication is preferred.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Maintenance of data with relevant insights in a structured manner
- Provide key deliverables on time
- Knowledge in Power BI / other data tools is an added advantage
- Drive automation and process improvements in Costing & FP&A activities
