Role Purpose:
The position is to support Dyehouse Manager by ensuring that all efforts has been made in the stipulated time, to provide the best recipe for bulk production, such that there is a continuous improvement in Colour Quality and RFT.
Principal Accountabilities and Key Activities:
- Ensure continuous improvement in colour quality (CQ) and RFT while still lead time of recipe development will be maintained.
- Ensure that all production orders, that have failed auto pre-screening, have been pre-screened in accordance with the automatic mode of manual pre-screening rules/Wizard.
- Ensure that all the WFT reasons for recipe related failures are entered correctly into the dyesect.
- Ensure maximum use of feedback system
- Develop bulk recipe where there is no previous bulk recipe exists.
- Ensure that all the new materials sent by planning team are mapped to correct recipes.
- Act as backup feedback operator.
- Act as backup dyehouse shift officer.
- Ensure the highest level of lab to bulk reproducibility
- Ensure that high quality recipes are promoted to bulk for all BRI and BRD request
- Handle all BRI and BRD issues through LRM and ensure timely promotion to bulk of all BRI and BRD recipes
- Ensure pre-screening SOP is followed
- Ensure that all bulk batches released through proper recipe pre-screening for dyeing are done so with the highest quality recipe possible, resulting in the best chance of a high colour quality results.
- Ensure the use of approved / correct coats global dyestuff triangulations
- Ensure to take part in online WFT process to verify the recipe issue
- Ensure that production is carried out in compliance with all relevant safety, health, quality and environmental management policies, SOPs and controls to guarantee employee safety, legislative compliance, delivery of high quality products / services and a responsible environmental attitude
Education, Qualifications and Experience
(Include skills and competencies required to perform the role competently)
- A graduate in Textile Technology / Industrial & Production Engineering / Chemical Engineering / M. Sc. in Chemistry or Physics
- 5 to 7 years of experience in rotational shift management in a high pressure high volume environment
- Proficient in use of COLOUR STITCH Feedback or
- Proficient in use of COLOUR STITCH LRM.
- Proficient in use of COLOUR STITCH Pre-screening Wizard
- Achieve production output as per schedule
