Role Purpose:

 

The Sr. Executive, Sales is responsible for driving profitable growth within the assigned territory by managing key customer

accounts, identifying and developing new business opportunities, and ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction. This role

requires strong commercial acumen, effective cross-functional collaboration, and a deep understanding of market dynamics.

Acting as the primary business representative for the territory, the Sr. Executive, Sales will enhance Coats’ market presence

while ensuring operational excellence in service delivery.

 

 

Principal Accountabilities and Key Activities:

 

Business Development & Sales Growth

· Drive and deliver profitable business results within the assigned territory in line with annual and monthly sales targets.

· Identify new business opportunities, untapped customer segments, and market gaps to support market expansion.

· Develop and execute action plans to achieve revenue, volume, and profitability goals.

 

Customer Relationship Management

· Build and nurture strong relationships with existing and prospective customers to ensure long-term engagement and loyalty.

· Conduct regular customer visits, business reviews, and discussions to stay aligned with customer expectations

 

Key Account Management

· Act as the single point of contact for key accounts, ensuring seamless coordination across internal teams for order

execution, service delivery, production requirements, and logistics.

· Address urgencies, escalations, and service challenges promptly and professionally to maximize customer satisfaction.

 

Cross-Functional Collaboration

· Collaborate closely with Customer Service, Supply Chain, Logistics, Manufacturing, Quality, and Finance teams to ensure

timely issue resolution and smooth process flow.

· Support consistent achievement of order fulfillment KPIs while maintaining operational efficiency and cost discipline.

 

Credit & Outstanding Management

· Monitor customer outstanding balances and follow up with Customer Service and Finance for timely reconciliation.

· Manage the credit cycle in alignment with company policies, mitigating risks associated with overdue or doubtful debts.

 

Market Intelligence & Reporting

· Continuously gather insights on competitor activities, pricing trends, customer feedback, and product developments.

· Prepare and share reports and analyses with internal stakeholders to support planning and strategic decision-making.

 

Collaboration with Global Accounts Teams

· Coordinate with local business development teams to develop and grow business

· Co-create business development plans aligned with global brand strategies, category priorities, and buyer expectations.

 

 

Education, Qualifications and Experience:

• Business graduate preferably BBA (with Concentration in Marketing) from reputed business institution
• 4+ years inline experience, MNC preferred
• Strong background in account/sales management
• Track record of closing sales and delivering on profit commitments
• Ability to travel extensively
• Strong team player with a can-do attitude
• Strong interpersonal/ communication skills
