Position Title: Segment Leader – Personal Protection

Location: Bengaluru

Job Purpose: 

Ensure and support Commercial deliverables for Personal Protection Segment for India cluster - India and GCC region

Principal Accountabilities:

  1. Achieving sales and collection target along with other relevant KPIs
  2. Managing Key Accounts to help the team with maintenance of share and key negotiations with respect to price and share gain
  3. Maintaining financial hygiene with respect to debtor days and overdue collection
  4. Managing people
  5. Sales growth in terms of volumes and market share
  6. Being aware of market trends and competition activities to support key strategic initiatives
  7. Recruitment of Sales force / Front line Sales Staff
  8. Training and development of sales personnel
  9. Profitability and gross margin improvement
  10. Maintaining a strong opportunity pipeline for the region to support consistent growth
  11. Coordination with Production team and New Product Development team, based on market requirements

Knowledge, Competencies and Key Behaviors Required:

  1. Preferably - MBA with at least 15 – 20  yrs of experience in sales and product management of FR Fabrics and Human protection as related to Fire Hazards in industry.

  2. Sound knowledge of products, applications, end user industry manufacturing processes and Coats India’s supply chain.

  3. High quality analytical written and verbal communication, negotiation, decision making, and people development skills Overall Knowledge about Man made speciality fibers, Processing of fibers through spinning, weaving and D&F, garment manufacturing and industry segments wise hazards and customer needs.
