Role Purpose:
- To lead end‑to‑end supply and production planning for the $45M Tailoring segment by converting demand plans into an optimized Supply Network Plan. The role ensures high service levels, efficient inventory, and smooth execution across internal units and outsourced partners. It balances service, cost, speed, and inventory through strong cross‑functional coordination, solid MRP governance, and disciplined operational routines to support steady growth. To manage group sourcing of about $2.5M (thread and footwear structural components from group markets) by planning lead times and inventory in coordination with the Commercial team and central planning.
Principal Accountabilities:
- Demand & Supply Planning Governance: Review and align demand plans with the Commercial and Central Planning teams during the monthly IOP cycle, and convert the approved demand into a workable SNP.
- Production & Conversion Operations Management: Manage daily production and conversion activities to meet the SNP, ensuring plan adherence, productivity, and delivery for 21M CLU per year.
- Capacity, Resource & Logistics Planning: Plan and optimise PMUM, D&C, and GT across conversion units for best capacity use and cost efficiency, and build loads effectively for movement to the central warehouse.
- Inventory & Service Level Management: Maintain healthy inventory levels (DIO) and high service levels (strike rate) through regular analysis, stock balancing, and timely replenishment planning.
- Outsourced Material Planning: Plan and manage outsourced items like zips and interlinings to ensure continuous supply and service-level compliance.
- SLOB & Inventory Health Management: Review inventory health regularly to reduce slow‑moving and obsolete stock and keep non‑stock inventory at low levels.
- MRP & System Discipline: Maintain and review MRP rules and parameters with Central Planning through OFA and governance cycles.
- Distribution & Network Readiness: Plan stock positioning and distribution across India to ensure consistent service levels across all DCs through seasons and demand cycles.
- Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Commercial, Planning, Production, and Supply teams to drive delivery, quality, speed, and cost performance.
- Group Sourcing Management: Manage about $2.5M of group‑sourced items (thread and footwear components) by planning lead times and inventory with the Commercial team and Central Planning
Education, Qualifications and Experience:
- Postgraduate in Operation management with broad supply chain experience in planning processes, systems, tools (SAP environment), warehouse and 3PL management.
- 8 – 12 years of experience in Supply Chain Manager roles.
- Experience implementing continuous improvement methodologies and programs such as Lean, Six Sigma, DMAIC and Change Management.
- Good Excel and analytics, judgment, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to interpret financial data and estimate costs, and adherence to safety policies and regulations.
- Demonstrated ability to promote teamwork and coach team members.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize workloads.
- Superior communication skills - written and verbal. Fluency in English

- Relevant Supply Chain and management Qualification.
