Role Purpose

  • Manage all resources to be used efficiently basing on designed process/agreed procedures as well as co-operate with related section to solve issues during the shift such that KPIs (Compliance, Safety, RFT, CQ, LpMpD) are achieved and improved consistently. 

 

Principal Accountabilities and Key Activities 

[Focus on 4 – 6 main accountability areas with up to 4 activities for each] 

  • Ensure Compliance, Health & Safety policy is implemented well. 

  • Guide to operator and ensure all SOPs to be implemented exactly as well as feedback to manager if any update/revise needed. 

  • Look for/ eliminate any hazards factors in shop floor. 

  • Timely report all accidents/incidents and near miss. 

  • Control working time, overtime of operator to meet standard (SA8000, other regulation). 

  • Conduct the team to achieve KPIs (RFT, CQ, LpMpD). 

  • Closely monitor production status and ensure GT, D&C are ready for next batch. 

  • Ensure efficient running of Lawer systems. 

  • Frequency check quality index (RFT, CQ) and take corrective action if needed. 

  • Conduct Wrong First Time (WFT) analysis. 

  • Link chain of dyeing process by. 

  • Co-operate with maintenance/IT to ensure correct working of all machinery, SAP/SEDO system within OAR. 

  • Co-operate Finishing/ Warehouse to follow up issue as input/output and late order. 

  • Manage manpower, maintain discipline and build up teamwork. 

  • Ensure enough manpower for the shift by manage annual leave in the shift. 

  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of employees as well as proposal relevant training for growth. 

  • Maintain discipline within OAR. 

  • Ensure OAR is clean and tidy all times. 

  • Build-up excellent teamwork in the shift and keep good communication with operators.

 

Education, Qualifications and Experience 

Essential 

Desirable 

  • College or above with major in relevant sciences e.g. textiles, chemistry or Industrial Eng’g 

  • Dyehouse systems practical knowledge in efficient use. e.g CF2000e, Dysect, Sedomaster, LAWER systems. 

  • Excellent communication and team motivation skills. 

  • Good knowledge in SAP, in the relevant transactions. 

  •  Knowledge of Health and safety standards and laws.
