- Health & Safety (H&S) Accountability: Accountable for the team’s health and safety, the facility safety as well as the overall housekeeping of the working areas
- Communicate all company H&S SOPs policies to all team member timely and effectively as well as supervise activities in according with SOP and policies.
- Perform hazardous and risk assessment of working location/ tools on regular basis; propose and implement action plan for continuous improvement of the safety working condition and people safety behaviour.
- Maintain or/and identify area for improvement of the overall housekeeping to meet Coats standard and policies.
- Be accountable for preparation and arrangement of resources to handle the emergencies
- Supervise and plan for offsite warehouse operation (receiving, storage, cycle count and delivery) for FGs; raw materials and scraps effectively - within approved budget and in comply with all Coats policy to deliver best service.
- Manage daily activity (put away, picking , packing, distribution) complied with Coats Policy.
- Liaise with relevant departments in solving issues relating to customers with priority.
- Review WH layout periodically and propose for reset up in system to optimize warehouse space capacity.
- Ensure RM (including Chemicals) to be stored in good manner.
- Make sure all required controlling activities to be conducted properly and timely: cycle count, bin consolidation, expired date
- Responsible to ensure all off site warehouse facilities (building, racking, forklift trucks, moving equipment, office equipment) well managed to maintain daily operation smoothly.
- Manage and assess Supplier performance to make sure cost managed effectively.
- Manage scraps to minimize generate to environment
- Comply with Global anti-corruption and bribery policies
- Liaise with relevant departments in solving issues relating to customers
- Monitor the status of due orders
- Make sure that FG are handed to Distribution team on schedule
- Ensure that all agreed KPI targets are monitored and well controlled
- Well understand all KPIs of for warehouse: Safety, productivity, inventory accuracy, quality, lead time, LFR
- Explain and get subordinates understand KPIs and agreed targets
- Daily monitor the achievement of the team on warehouse KPIs
- Utilize resources of the team to improve warehouse KPIs
- People management accountability:
- Responsible for hiring and appointment of personnel within their own team by participating in the selection process as and when required.
- Organize and arrange shift schedule, operating to ensure smooth operation of all factory warehouse in according to meet Coats and local legal and compliance requirement and standard.
- Responsible for team and individual performance objective; to set, to monitor and to be responsible for assessment of team/individual’s performance on the proper and fairly and timely manner to meet Coats performance review process and standard.
- Overview and monitor team disciplines and participate in the discipline meeting to build the disciplinary working environment
- Arrange labours to utilize all resources of the team
- Support subordinates through coaching and knowledge sharing
- Drive the continuous improvement related to factory WH activity:
- Review daily process / activity for both inbound and outbound of WH which are interacting with other functions (production/ CS/ Sales/ purchasing) to propose for further improvement, execute automation process.
- Updating existing Standard Operation Procedure if required, review new Standard Operation Procedure before application.
- Analyse supply chain KPI performance against best practice to propose for improvement.
- Periodically review all WH process, procedure to align with Group policy related to stock management.
- Perform special projects/tasks related to supply chain if required.
