To provide technical and administrative support in developing sustainable sewing thread and yarn solutions for high-performance industrial applications (Automotive, Personal Protection, Household & Recreation, and Other Industrial Applications) and drive continuous improvement of existing products.
Follow up on lab tests, manage documentation, and coordinate cross-functional activities to accelerate development process and ensure compliance with sustainability standards. In this role, it is also required to translate customer feedback or complaints, regulatory trends and market demands into commercially viable new products to strengthen the company’s competitive position and revenue growth.
Act as the “air-traffic controller” who keeps every NPD work-stream moving, ensure the data accurate and all stakeholders aligned.

- Project Coordination and Governance
- Build and maintain the master NPD project plan and keep records and status in Zenith system up to date.
- Organize NPD project update meetings and publish concise minutes with action owners & due dates.
- Closely follow up on sample/pilot orders, and check status against the planned completion date for each operation in Zenith.
- Track agreed deliverables and flag slippage in advance and update relevant stakeholders on the progress.
- Market and Technical Intelligence
- Scan technical journals, trade fairs, customer portals and regulatory bulletins and summarise into insight notes every week.
- Maintain competitor benchmark library (physical samples, test data, price points) and update monthly.
- Data Integrity and documentation
- Own the technical data in Zenith: ensure test results, specifications, trial progress are uploaded timely every week.
- Work with Production and Quality to prepare first-draft technical specification sheets, production process conditions, etc for Technical Manager (NPD) to review.
- Work with Sales and NPI team for new Art/Tkt application against the target completion date.
- Manage the document approval workflow; chase signatories and avoid delays.
- Sample & Pilot order support
- Book sample/pilot slots with Production, raise material requisitions with Procurement and track inbound raw-material deliveries.
- Coordinate courier shipments of samples to customers; track delivery status and customer feedback in Zenith.
- Participate in customer trials and share feedback with the team immediately or in the NPD update meetings.
- Continuous improvement and Sustainability
- Run quarterly “voice-of-customer” data-mining exercise with Sales/Quality/Production on customer feedback/complaints/returns and propose NPD projects or “quick-fix” projects.
- Always include sustainability in the new product idea and design stages.
- Assist in preparing LCA inputs and sustainability benchmarking for new products.
