Role Purpose

  • Provide a highly competent level of technical services to international buyers, buying houses & the company’s customers.
  • Implementation of best practises of using sewing threads
  • Selling sewing solutions services to buying houses and manufacturers.
  • Knowledge of all types of sewing machines, accessories, attachments and its applications.
  • Presentation skills and proficient communication with internal and external leadership team.
  • Quick, consistent, solutions for customer whenever technical assistance is required.
  • Weekly, Monthly regular updates of activity, market developments to supervisor.
  • Implement all concepts, schemes, tools and strategy as advised by supervisor.

 

Principal Accountabilities and Key Activities

 

  • Coats sewing solutions management
  • Manage coats sewing solutions activities for buying houses and manufacturers
  • Conduct regular Technical seminars for external customers and internal sales and support service teams
  • Conducting PES, Thread audit, Training programs, Workshops, coats clinic etc coming under Coats sewing solutions.
  • Technical Selling-concepts, premium products and services
  • Business development functions
  • Implement TAS/TCR ensuring the procurement is made as per our recommendations
  • Provide customers with a very high level of technical input and use this to build very strong business relationships.
  • Conduct regular mill and sewing trainings.
  • New product launch and penetration in the market place.
  • Gain local specifications for the company’s products from buyers & buying houses.
  • Liaising with other GKA personnel (both national & international) in order to   deliver a service & product offering consistent with the company’s global effort.
  • On the job training of SO making him/her more efficient, technically competent & result oriented.
  • Build & reinforce the concept of ‘Coats - one stop shop’ for all the customers technical needs.
  • Day to day interaction with respective branch sales , support team to ensure that everybody works in tandem and towards the same goals.
  • Complaint handling guidance for the sales team whenever required
  • Cordinate & Effective utilization of the marketing team.
