Role Purpose: 

  • To ensure the master training plan is well set up and implemented to deliver the compliance of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions for all positions in Dyeing.
  • To support operators to improve their job knowledge and skills to deliver the required target (RFT/CQ & LpMpD).

 

What you will do (Key Responsibilities):

 

Working instructions and standard operating procedures

  • Responsible for the preparation and update of work instructions (WIs) and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Carry out the regular training and process audits to ensure SOPs and WIs are well implemented and followed on the shop floor.

Part analysis training (PAT)

  • Set up part analysis training process for all positions to support operators to achieve the target output through a systematic and effective training process.
  • Coordinate with Industrial engineering to continuously review and improve PAT process
  • Evaluate operators’ individual performance in training time using PAT evaluation format.

Training and retraining plan

  • Prepare training and retraining plan for shift and deliver training as planned.
  • Coordinate with supervisors and carry out multi-skill training for operators.
  • Make a back-up plan for key operator positions in Dyeing

Training improvement and operator engagement support

  • Work closely with new operators and listen to their feedback to timely response and support them.
  • Carry out discussions or brainstormings, then come up with proposals/actions to improve the training effectiveness.
  • To support the team brief and internal communications.

 

Who you are (Requirements):

  • University/College/Vocational graduate
  • Two years experience in manufacturing environment
  • Good Communication and presentation skills
  • Willing to learn and work in the shift if required.
