Principal Accountabilities and Key Activities 

As a Technical Sales Representative:

To provide technical solutions for customers

  1. Arrange new customer visit to understand the root cause of customer application issue and provide recommendations.
  2. Provide technical zip seminar and promote the product values of Coats zip.
  3. Develop new business from solution selling.

 

To provide development opportunities for NPD

  1. Identify opportunities for new product development to solve customer application issue.
  2. Develop new business from new product development.
  3. Ensure a smooth communication between customers and NPD & QA teams for new product development or product improvement.
  4. Communicate with NPD for new product development status on weekly basis.

 

To provide technical supports for customers

  1. Handle customer complaint via collecting information, identifying the root cause, corrective and preventive action and find permanent solution with support by QA department.
  2. Solve product or application problem on customer site, including zipper repair and inspection.

Education, Qualifications and Experience

Essential

Desirable

  • A minimum of 5 years working experience in Sales – preferably in the Apparel/Footwear/Bag segment.
  • Knowledge in trims is required preferably in zip
  • Proven evidence of developing new business independently.
  • Excellent technical, inter personal and managerial skills;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and fair command of written English;
  • Self-motivated, stand up to challenge and willing to work under pressure;
  • Sensitive to numbers
  • Basic written and verbal communication in Mandarin (Chinese)
